Seth Rogen responds to critic who suggested his film inspired mass shooter

TORONTO — Canadian actor Seth Rogen has blasted a film critic who blamed his latest movie for inspiring Elliot Rodger’s May 23 shooting spree.

In an article published Sunday in the Washington Post, Ann Hornaday asked: “How many students watch outsized frat-boy fantasies like Neighbors and feel, as Rodger did, unjustly shut out of college life that should be full of ‘sex and fun and pleasure’?”

Hornaday opined that Rodger’s delusions “were inflated, if not created, by the entertainment industry he grew up in.”

Rogen reacted on Twitter.

“I find your article horribly insulting and misinformed,” he tweeted on Monday.
